2008 SPRING ADVISOR'S CONFERENCE
April 7, 2008
9:00 AM - 2:30 PM Topics- Facebook, Parliamentary procedure, and more Cost: $60 and includes: all materials, continental breakfast, lunch, snacks, and door prizes.
All Iowa Student Council advisors are invited to attend the spring advisor's conference. This year's conference will be Monday, April 7, 2008, at the School Administrators of Iowa office in Clive. This one-day conference allows advisors to network with other advisors from across the state, to learn some activities for your council, to laugh, and to share mutual problems. It is a day that all Student Council advisors need and will enjoy.
We will have two law professors from Drake in to talk about facebook. We will also cover parliamentary procedure. In addition we will do round tables on school spirit, fund raisers, leadership development, and communication/advertising. All advisors that attend will receive a bag of goodies, snacks, lunch, door prizes, and all materials for a small fee. It is a great way to get refreshed to finish out the year.
