- Iowa Leadership Training Camp (ILTC): IAStuCo awarded $2,000 in scholarships to students attending camp from June 8–11 at Grand View University (“Igniting the Fire of Leadership”).
- VISION Conference: Fifty Iowa delegates are heading to Pinkerton Academy in Derry, New Hampshire (June 22–24) with custom state shirts and trading pins in hand!
- National Councils of Excellence: Congratulations to Iowa’s 2026 award recipients!
- National Council of Excellence: Marshalltown HS, Sioux City East HS.
- National Gold Council of Excellence: ADM HS, Bettendorf HS, Earlham HS, Johnston HS, Mason City HS, Oskaloosa HS, Pleasant Valley HS, Sioux City North HS, West Branch HS, Winterset HS.
- Upcoming Deadlines:
- Honor Council Portfolios: Electronic or scrapbook portfolios are due to the SAI Office by June 15, 2026.

- Fall Preview & Save-the-Dates:
- Free New Advisor Workshop: August 11, 2026 (10 AM–2 PM) at the SAI Office in Clive for advisors in years 0–3.
- District Bootcamps: One-day officer training workshops scheduled for September (SE: Sept 2, Central: Sept 8, SW: Sept 9; NE & NW dates TBA) [$15/person, max $100/school].
- IAStuCo State Leadership Conference: October 25–26, 2026, at Iowa State University in Ames featuring keynote speaker A’ric Jackson!
- 2026–2027 State Project: Get ready for this year’s student-led campaign, “From Lattes to Lungs, the Spectrum of Addiction.”
Get Involved: Submit a proposal via the 2026 Call for Presenters to host a breakout session at the State Conference!
